Honeymoon destination; Cape Town, South Africa

This is the first part of the honeymoon series, I would be putting up honeymoon destinations and ideas from time to time. Destinations within and outside the country would be featured here, whether you have an over the top budget or a shoe string budget  I am sure you can find just the right honeymoon spot to suit you.

Cape Town, South Africa would be the feature for this week, I absolutely love Cape Town, it is one of the most beautiful, romantic and most visited cities in the world and most importantly it’s in Africa. Cape Town is surrounded on one side by the ocean and on the other by mountains; there is the Twelve Apostle mountains, the Lion’s head and the most striking and famous table mountain.

Cape Town is increasingly being recognised as an internationally acclaimed, world-class luxury travel destination. More specifically, it is also fast becoming a sought-after wedding and honeymoon destination for both African and international visitors. And who can blame them? Cape Town offers some of the most romantic luxury hotels, lodges and guest houses, perfect for lovebirds, hopeless romantics and newlyweds.

Cape Town's beautiful beaches have become increasingly popular for outdoor beach weddings, while its romantic accommodation offerings complete with super-luxurious honeymoon suites, will take your breath away.

The Cape Wine Route offers romantic getaways second to none, while top restaurants in and around the city centre provide ideal settings for intimate, candlelit dinners.
